BEIJING, 24th October, 2023 (WAM) -- A 5.9-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off Taiwan's Hualien County at 7:05 am Tuesday (Beijing Time), Xinhua news agency reported, citing the China Earthquake Networks Centre (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 23.96 degrees north latitude and 122.83 degrees east longitude.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the centre said.
