The death toll has risen to seven after a fire and blast at the Technology Industrial Park of Pingtung City of China's Taiwan region on Friday, local media reported Saturday. 

Four firefighters were among the deceased and another 98 people were wounded. 

According to TVBS news, rescuers are still searching for three missing people.

Local media said the fire erupted at a golf factory in the park at around 6 p.m. and an explosion ensued because of suspected chemical substances stored in the factory.
