Unions say no strike at Iberia

Spanish airline Iberia is no longer under threat of strike after unions called off planned action after an agreement with management.
Last week, Iberia and the unions said they had agreed an average 4% pay rise for cabin crew.
The crew had planned a first strike for 30th November to 2nd December over the airline's plans to reduce costs with hiring and wage freezes.
Iberia agreed a merger deal with British Airways last week after announcing a loss of 165.4 million euros in the first half of the year.  Email this story to a friend
